TROFI JULES RIMET DAN TROFI PIALA DUNIA FIFA

Piala Jules Rimet dibuat oleh Seniman/Perupa Perancis, Abel La Fleur. Trofi ini berbentuk Oktagonal berlambangkan bumi dipegang oleh Dewa Kemenangan yang bernama Nike (Dewa Yunani Purba). Piala ini dibuat dari Emas, dengan berat 3,8 Kg dan Tinggi 35 cm.

Selama Perang Dunia II dimana Piala Dunia ditiadakan Tropi Jules Rimet ini disimpan oleh Ottorino Barrasi, Presiden FIFA saat itu, Trofi Jules Rimet tersebut disimpan dibawah ranjangnya di Italia. Menurut Peraturan FIFA pada saat itu Pemenang terakhir dapat menyimpan Trofi tersebut setelah menang 3 kali dan Brasil berhasil menyimpannya pada tahun 1970.

Trofi Jules Rimet ini adalah termasuk Trofi yang suka 'berpetualangan' karena selain sering berpindah tangan oleh para Pemenang Turnamen WorldCup juga mengalami berpindah tangan ke kawanan Pencuri. Pada Tahun 1966, Piala Jules Rimet pernah dicuri sewaktu dipamerkan di Stamplex Exhibition di Westminster Central Hall, London saat menjelangnya Piala Dunia 1966 di Inggris, namun sepekan kemudian Trofi tersebut ditemukan oleh seekor anjing bernama Pickles.

Pada Tahun 1983, Trofi ini kembali dicuri oleh orang-orang tak bertanggungjawab di sebuah bank di Rio de Janeiro, Trofi ini tak pernah diketemukan lagi dan tetap menjadi sebuah misteri sampai saat ini. ada anggapan bahwa Piala ini di lebur oleh kawanan pencuri tersebut untuk dijadikan Emas Batangan. Hingga Akhirnya Konfedarasi Sepak Bola Brasil membuat Tiruannya.

TROFI PENGGANTI

Setelah dimilikinya Trofi Jules Rimet secara Permanen oleh Brasil maka Badan Induk FIFA membuat Trofi baru dengan menggunakan Emas 18 Karat, Tinggi 36 cm dan beratnya mencapai 4,97 Kg.  Trofi ini diberi nama Trofi Piala Dunia FIFA yang dirancang oleh Seniman perupa Italia bernama Silvio Gazzaniaga pada tahun 1971 dengan biaya Pembuatan mencapai 50 ribu Pounds.

Pada bagian bawah Trofi ini terbuat dari batu malakit, disana terdapat ruang untuk menuliskan 17 negara pemenang Piala Dunia.  dengan demikian Trofi ini belum akan dipensiunkan hingga plak namanya terisi semua  dengan nama-nama pemenangnya, yang akan terjadi pada tahun 2038. Untuk Pemenang Piala Dunia  diberikan Replika Trofi Piala Dunia yang dilapisi Emas untuk disimpan oleh Pemenang atau Juara, dan pada Seragamnya berhak ditambahkan tanda Bintang, dimana tanda satu bintang berarti satu Piala telah didapat atau Satu Kali menjadi Juara. Saking berharganya Trofi ini, FIFA menetapkan hanya Pemimpin Negara dan Pemenang Piala Dunia saja yang boleh menyentuhnya. Dan baru-baru ini Presiden SBY telah menyentuhnya di Istana Negara pada Tanggal 25 Januari 2010 yang kemudian di perlihatkan Assembly Hall Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) sebagai bagian dari promosi program FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca Cola.

SEJARAH PIALA DUNIA

Piala Dunia bukanlah suatu kejuaraan Sepakbola internasional pertama. Sepakbola amatir menjadi bagian dari program olimpiade untuk pertamakalinya pada tahun 1908. Pada tahun 1909 di Torino diselenggarakan sebuah Turnamen Sepakbola yang bernama Piala Sir Thomas Lipton. Italia, Jerman dan Swiss mengirimkan Klub mereka yang paling prestisius ke turnamen tersebut, namun Persatuan Sepak Bola Inggris (FA) menolak tawaran untuk ikut serta dalam kejuaraan tersebut.

Ide melahirkan kejuaraan sepak bola dunia tercetus pada tahun 1904 di paris saat Konggres I Federation Internationale de Football Association. Pada Tahun 1928, hasil usaha FIFA dan Presiden persatuan sepakbola Perancis (FFFA), Jules Rimet dan rekannya Henri Delaunay, peserta konggres di amsterdam memutuskan untuk melaksanakan ide tersebut. Setahun kemudian, FIFA secara resmi mempersiapkan sebuah kejuaraan bernama 'World Cup' yang akan berlangsung setiap empat tahun. Pada Konggres FIFA 17 - 18 Mei 1929 di Barcelona Spanyol, Uruguay mendapatkan dukungan dari 23 peserta Konggres menjadi tuan rumah Piala Dunia pertama menyingkirkan ambisi Hungaria, Italia, Belanda, Spanyol dan Swedia. Piala Kejuaraan ini dikenal dengan nama Piala Jules Rimet. Maka Piala Dunia FIFA pertama pun diadakan di Uruguay dan berlangsung dari tanggal 13-30 Juli 1930 dengan peserta 13 negara, 6 dari amerika selatan, 5 dari eropa dan 2 dari amerika utara. Uruguay sebagai tuan rumah waktu ini keluar sebagai Juara Piala Dunia (juara pertama kali) dengan mengalahkan Argentina 4-2 dihadapan 93.000 penonton di Montevideo.

Selama Perang dunia ke-2 kejuaraan ini terhenti selama 12 tahun, dan dimulai kembali tahun 1950 di Brasil.  Brasil adalah Tim paling sukses dalam Piala Dunia secara keseluruhan setelahlima kali menjadi juara dan dua kali di posisi runner up sementara Italia berada dibawahnya dengan empat kali juara dan dua kali diposisi kedua. Jerman adalah tim sukses ketiga dengan 3 kali menjadi juara dunia dan empat kali di posisi kedua. Argentina dan Uruguay masing-masing 2 kali menjadi Juara Dunia meski kemenangan Uruguay terjadi pada masa yang sudah lama pada awal-awal tahun kejuaraan.

Piala dunia terakhir berlangsung diadakan di Jerman pada tahun 2006. dan Penyelenggaraan kali in tahun 2010 akan diadakan di Afrika Selatan.

PIALA DUNIA AFRIKA SELATAN 2010

Perhelatan Akbar dalam sejarah Sepakbola Dunia sebentar lagi akan bergulir, Ya PIALA DUNIA dalam hitungan hari akan segera kita nikmati, suguhan pertandingan sepakbola papan atas dunia, mulai pemain-pemain bintang, gol-gol indah bahkan pemain pecundang sekalipun.
Piala Dunia kali  ini (WorldCup 2010) akan diselenggarakan di Afrika Selatan sebagai kebijakan baru dai FIFA yang merotasi tempat penyelenggaraan turnamen diantara konfedarasi-konfedarasi FIFA. Afrika Selatan sebagai Tuan Rumah terpilih yang merupakan keputusan FIFA dari hasil pemungutan suara, dari beberapa calon tuan rumah dari zona CAF yaitu Afrika Selatan dengan 14 Jumlah Suara, Maroko dengan 10 Suara, Mesir 0, dan sebelumnya Libya serta Tunisia mencalonkan sebagai Tuan rumah bersama namun karena kebijakan FIFA terbaru yang tidak memperbolehkan adanya tuan rumah bersama maka Tunisia mengundurkan diri begitupun dengan Libya yang tidak melanjutkan Pencalonannya. dengan demikian Afrika Selatan terpilih sebagai Tuan Rumah Penyelenggara Turnamen Piala Dunia Tahun 2010. Hasil Pemungutan suara ini diumumkan oleh Presiden FIFA Sepp Blater dalam konferensi Pers pada 15 Mei 2004 di Zurich, Swiss.
Piala Dunia Sepakbola atau lebih sering dikenal sebagai Piala Dunia saja adalah kompetisi paling bergengsi dan terpenting dalam dunia sepakbola. Piala Dunia ini diselenggarakan oleh FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association). Turnamen babak Final Piala dunia adalah ajang olahraga yang paling banyak diminati sebagai bahan tontonan di dunia bahkan melebihi ajang Olimpiade.
Babak Final turnamen Piala Dunia ini diselenggarakan setiap empat tahun sekali namun kejuaraan ini mengambil masa dua tahun secara keseluruhan. Lebih dari 160 Tim nasional bertarung dalam turnamen kualifikasi regional untuk meraih tempat dalam babak final. Turnamen Final Piala Dunia Kali ini melibatkan 32 Tim (peningkatan dari 24 tim pada tahun 1998) yang berkompetisi selama 4 minggu di negara yang ditunjuk sebagai tuan rumah. Pada turnamen kali ini Afrika Selatan sebagai tuan rumah mengikuti kualifikasi begitu pula dengan Italia sebagai Juara bertahan.

KEBERANIAN MENGAMBIL KEPUTUSAN

Ketika kita berada di persimpangan, apa yang kita lakukan? Jalan mana yang diambil? Apakah kita hanya duduk saja menunggu datangnya “ilham” yang akan memberitahu kita untuk memilih yang terbaik?

Seringkali kita menunda mengambil keputusan, atau tidak mengambil keputusan sama sekali, karena terdorong rasa takut. Pada dasarnya, rasa takut menunda datangnya kesempatan. Ketakutan yang berlebihan membuat kesempatan itu tidak akan pernah datang.

Tapi di sisi lain, pengambilan keputusan secara serampangan tanpa pertimbangan yang matang, juga bisa menghilangkan kesempatan. Yang kita perlukan adalah pemikiran yang tuntas untuk bisa mengambil keputusan terbaik. Dan yang lebih penting adalah keberanian mengambil keputusan dan melaksanakannya.

Dalam mengambil keputusan, cobalah melihat sesuatu dari sudut pandang lain. Jangan terjebak dengan common sense, karena apa yang baik bagi sebagian besar orang, belum tentu baik bagi diri kita sendiri.

Ketika mengambil sudut pandang yang berbeda, seringkali kita mendapatkan peluang lebih besar untuk melakukan sesuatu denan lebih baik.

Jika dikejar anjing, seseorang akan bisa berlari lebih cepat dari biasanya (pengalaman penulis). Dalam situasi yang penuh tekanan, kita bisa mengeluarkan kemampuan terbaik dalam diri kita (contohnya Mac Gyver,film jadul tea). Sayangnya, kita seringkali enggan memasuki dunia yang penuh tekanan. Kita lebih suka menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman, daripada memasuki persaingan. Seringkali kita terjebak dalam comfort zone (wilayah kemapanan yang menjebak). Sehingga kita enggan berlari, dan menjadi mangsa kompetitor kita.

Dalam posisi nothing to lose (kaya waktu dikejar anjing itu), biasanya kita lebih berani mengambil resiko. Lebih berani berlari meninggalkan apa pun di belakang kita. Seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Mark Cuban, pemilik Dallas Maverick, “semakin muda anda mulai, akan semakin baik. Jika anda masih lajang memiliki lima orang teman kos dan sebuah mobil butut, you have nothing to lose, makin banyak urusan dan kewajiban yang anda miliki, maka akan semakin mungkin anda tidak berani meninggalkan slip gaji.

Kalau dulu ada yang namanya ABRI Masuk Desa (AMD) sekarang ada istilah Internet masuk kampung, jadi orang kampung ga terlalu gaptek-gaptek amat…(hihihi sori buat yang masih gaptekc jd kesinggung) apalagi dengan maraknya situs jejaring social seperti : Facebook, Friendster, dll yang membuat maraknya WARNET masuk kampung. Maraknya internet masuk kampung nih, dimafaatkan sekali oleh penulis untuk mempelajari apa sih? Bagaimana sih? Buat apa sih? Internet itu dan ternyata kegunaannya banyak sekali buat penulis pribadi (jadi banyak contekan) selain sangat menunjang pekerjaan saya di tempat kerja.

Singkat cerita dunia internet mengenalkan orang kampung yang satu ini apa yang dinamakan BLOG. Lama juga penulis yang mengetahui apa yang namanya BLOG itu? Apa bedanya BLOG dengan (maaf) GOBLOG, akhirnya melalui situs Wikipedia, penulis menemukan suatu titik terang (maaf baru titik terang, soalnya masih O’on ama yang namanya BLOG) mengenai kata BLOG itu.. menurut wikipedia :

Blog merupakan singkatan dari "web log" adalah bentuk aplikasi web yang menyerupai tulisan-tulisan (yang dimuat sebagai posting) pada sebuah halaman web umum. Tulisan-tulisan ini seringkali dimuat dalam urut terbalik (isi terbaru dahulu baru kemudian diikuti isi yang lebih lama), meskipun tidak selamanya demikian. Situs web seperti ini biasanya dapat diakses oleh semua pengguna internet sesuai dengan topik dan tujuan dari si pengguna blog tersebut.

Blog mempunyai fungsi yang sangat beragam,dari sebuah catatan harian, media publikasi dalam sebuah kampanye politik, sampai dengan program-program media dan perusahaan-perusahaan. Sebagian blog dipelihara oleh seorang penulis tunggal, sementara sebagian lainnya oleh beberapa penulis, . Banyak juga weblog yang memiliki fasilitas interaksi dengan para pengunjungnya, seperti menggunakan buku tamu dan kolom komentar yang dapat memperkenankan para pengunjungnya untuk meninggalkan komentar atas isi dari tulisan yang dipublikasikan, namun demikian ada juga yang yang sebaliknya atau yang bersifat non-interaktif.

Komunitas blogger adalah sebuah ikatan yang terbentuk dari para blogger berdasarkan kesamaan-kesamaan tertentu, seperti kesamaan asal daerah, kesamaan kampus, kesamaan hobi, dan sebagainya. Para blogger yang tergabung dalam komunitas-komunitas blogger tersebut biasanya sering mengadakan kegiatan-kegiatan bersama-sama seperti kopi darat.

Untuk bisa bergabung di komunitas blogger, biasanya ada semacam syarat atau aturan yang harus dipenuhi untuk bisa masuk di komunitas tersebut, misalkan berasal dari daerah tertentu. Macam Blog :

• Blog politik: Tentang berita, politik, aktivis, dan semua persoalan berbasis blog (Seperti kampanye).
• Blog pribadi: Disebut juga buku harian online yang berisikan tentang pengalaman keseharian seseorang, keluhan, puisi atau syair, gagasan jahat, dan perbincangan teman.
• Blog bertopik: Blog yang membahas tentang sesuatu, dan fokus pada bahasan tertentu.
• Blog kesehatan: Lebih spesifik tentang kesehatan. Blog kesehatan kebanyakan berisi tentang keluhan pasien, berita kesehatan terbaru, keterangan-ketarangan tentang kesehatan, dll.
• Blog sastra: Lebih dikenal sebagai litblog (Literary blog).
• Blog perjalanan: Fokus pada bahasan cerita perjalanan yang menceritakan keterangan-keterangan tentang perjalanan/traveling.
• Blog riset: Persoalan tentang akademis seperti berita riset terbaru.
• Blog hukum: Persoalan tentang hukum atau urusan hukum; disebut juga dengan blawgs (Blog Laws).
• Blog media: Berfokus pada bahasan kebohongan atau ketidakkonsistensi media massa; biasanya hanya untuk koran atau jaringan televisi

I seem to lost count on how many times I've read and heard of celebrity marriages failing almost left and right. Not that I care (and personally I don't), it seems strange that we often see movie and TV stars as flawless people, living the fairytale life of riches and glamour. I suppose we all have to stop sticking our heads in the clouds and face reality.

There are many ways to lose your sense of self-esteem despite of how trivial it could get. But whatever happens, we should all try not to lose our own sense of self.

So what does it take to be a cut above the rest? Here are some of the things you can think and improve on that should be enough for a week.

1. Know your purpose
Are you wandering through life with little direction - hoping that you'll find happiness, health and prosperity? Identify your life purpose or mission statement and you will have your own unique compass that will lead you to your truth north every time.

This may seem tricky at first when you see yourself to be in a tight or even dead end. But there's always that little loophole to turn things around and you can make a big difference to yourself.

2. Know your values
What do you value most? Make a list of your top 5 values. Some examples are security, freedom, family, spiritual development, learning. As you set your goals for 2005 - check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn't align with any of your top five values - you may want to reconsider it or revise it.

The number shouldn't discourage you, instead it should motivate you to do more than you can ever dreamed of.

3. Know your needs
Unmet needs can keep you from living authentically. Take care of yourself. Do you have a need to be acknowledged, to be right, to be in control, to be loved? There are so many people who lived their lives without realizing their dreams and most of them end up being stressed or even depressed for that matter. List your top four needs and get them met before it's too late!

4. Know your passions

For most of us city slickers it's hard to even find the peace and quiet we want even in our own home. In my case I often just sit in a dimly lit room and play some classical music. There's sound, yes, but music does soothe the savage beast.

6. Honor your strengths
What are your positive traits? What special talents do you have? List three - if you get stuck, ask those closest to you to help identify these. Are you imaginative, witty, good with your hands? Find ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence when you can share what you know to others.

7. Serve others
When you live authentically, you may find that you develop an interconnected sense of being. When you are true to who you are, living your purpose and giving of your talents to the world around you, you give back in service what you came to share with others -your spirit - your essence. The rewards for sharing your gift with those close to you is indeed rewarding, much more if it were to be the eyes of a stranger who can appreciate what you have done to them.

Self-improvement is indeed one type of work that is worth it. It shouldn't always be within the confines of an office building, or maybe in the four corners of your own room. The difference lies within ourselves and how much we want to change for the better.

If you feel that your life became a drag, all you have to do is to awaken your creativity again and it will be transformed in an instant. We sometimes loose perspective and stop seeing what is happening around us, as we are trying to deal with our own problems. Buying a new or used car is a very important event. It is normally a long term commitment, most likely expensive, and represents a place where you and your family spend a lot of your time.

Just as most people don't get married or buy a house or go to a particular college based upon impulse, so too should car buying be treated with respect and given a proper amount of preparation.

There are things that people can do on the internet, through reading magazines, by asking friends, and other avenues to prepare for car shopping. Here, we will discuss the internal, primal, directionally focused process of digging deep and asking a few important questions before embarking on the automobile hunt.
1) How many people will be riding (NOT how many people are in the family)?
Consider your driving habits and future driving plans. You may have a family of 5, in which case a mid-sized sedan should work. But do grandma and grandpa like to ride to school events with you instead of driving themselves? Does little Timmy need to take four of his soccer teammates to practice sometimes? Are we going to fit all of the family and luggage when we head to the Grand Canyon this summer?
2) Will it fit in the garage?
Ford Excursion will not fit in 13% of the garages in the US. How big is yours?
3) How much can I really afford?
Do a true, honest, forward thinking budget. Can you really afford $300, plus the extra gas you'll pay for in the new SUV, plus the full coverage insurance instead of your liability?
If a car stands out, could you stretch to $450 a month, even though you only want to spend $375?
People get credit problems through their car loans because of various reasons ' divorce, loss of job, unexpected medical expenses, etc. Then there are others who simply bite off more than they can chew.

4) Who should I consult before shopping?
Just about everyone knows someone who knows something about cars. Whether they are or have been in the car business or if they have a lot of experience buying, they are assets. 8) Will it fit every driver?
That Mini Cooper sure would be nice, but will my husband enjoy it as much as me if he has to drive it?

9) What are my motivations?
Actors need to know their motivations before taking on a role. Car buyers need to know their motivations before buying.
If you get the urge to get a new sports car because your neighbor just parked her new Dodge Charger in the driveway, you should tread very carefully. Car buying can be an impulse decision. In many cases, these impulses lead us down the wrong path and create bad situations down the road (literally).
If your motivation is that your current vehicle has problems or is old enough to start having problems soon, that is a good motivation. If you are expecting a child and need something bigger, that is a good motivation. If you changed jobs and need better gas mileage to commute, that is a good motivation. If you have lots of money and darn it, you want a new car, that is a good motivation.
If your nemesis at work just bought a full ton diesel and you can't let him have the biggest, baddest truck in the parking lot, you should probably wait a few days and see if the feeling wears off before heading to the Dodge dealership.

10) How soon do I want and/or need a new car?
From a money saving point of view, this is the most important question to ask yourself. Fight the society's trend towards we want what we want and we want it now. If you want a new car, but you can wait a few months, order it. Most dealers and manufacturers will custom order one for you cheaper than if you buy it from the lot or have it located.

For used car buyers, if you have time, hold out for the best deal. Search the internet diligently through the various classified sites and dealer websites and wait for that great deal to come along. Be ready to hop on it, though, because great deals are there, and then they are gone.

Berawal dari sebuah pertemuan dengan seorang teman yang sedang mendapat cobaan, yang akhirnya banyak pertanyaan dalam hidup ini.
Sebutlah si A, dia seorang guru honorer dengan latar pendidikan sarjana, baru mempunyai seorang anak melalui operasi secario, Si A mendapatkan honor sebesar Rp. 480.000/perbulan. yang menjadi permasalahannya adalah ketika dalam proses persalinan dia harus mengeluarkan uang yang dinilainya sangat besar bagi penghasilannya yang tidak seberapa?dalam proses yang dikatakan "mencari" uang tersebut dia juga mengalami kecelakaan sehingga dia harus dioperasi.sehingga bertambahlah beban si A ini, dengan berlinang air mata dia menanyakan : Kenapa saya yang berjuang untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa ini, mengabdi pada negara ini tidak mendapatkan jaminan kesehatan yang seharusnya? kenapa buruh pabrik yang hanya lulusan smp bisa mendapatka jaminan kesehatan? apa guru honorer bukan tenaga kerja(pekerja) ?
Kejadian ini ironis sekali, membuatku terharu...ya mungkin saya masih beruntung bekerja sebagai honorer di SKPD yang bergerak dalam jasa Pelayanan Kesehatan walaupun tidak mendapat jaminan kesehatan setidaknya instansi saya memberikan kebijakan tersendiri untuk karyawannya yang sakit. tapi entah kapan kebijakan ini akan berlangsung? saya tidak dapat mengetahui secara pasti. Kapankah Pemerintah ini akan berpihak kepada Honorer dan Tenaga Sukwan?
